I didn’t have to think hard about a song that always makes me sad, Its probably really cliché to even to pick this song but maybe it’s because this song resonates with allot of people who lost someone that was close to them. Not only does this song remind of friends that died but it particularly reminds me of my father’s passing.
Last month marks 10 years past since his death. It amazes me how fast time goes by and especially of how it feels like no time has passed at all. No matter what I thought growing up regarding what my life would be and how it would turn out, I never thought I would lose my dad so early. I wasn’t finish having a father, I was just a kid.
I could go on and on , but I digress. You get the gist.
Thanks Internet, you Asshole for making me feel bad. I’m going to go now and throw some resentments as well as other emotions at the bottom of a bottle of Jack and bury them where it belongs.
